Wall Art
So the other day, I am walking down the street and I saw some new wall art on the zoo wall. I don't usually stop and take a photo but this one was quite intriguing to me. There seems to be a lot of motifs going on.
The first thing that caught my eye was the bird coming to rest on the person's head. It is very detailed and looks as though it has just landed. Why is it there? What does it represent? It stirred up a lot of questions. SO....just thought I would share it with you and see what you first saw....?

The TAIL of TWO AARDVARKS
One day a friend of mine came to visit and presented me with a gift of a purple crocheted aardvark. I loved him at first sight and called him Albert.
A couple weeks later, another friend came to visit and with her came her little boy. He had fun wrestling with Bertie during the visit. At the end of their visit, I felt God say that I needed to let them take Bertie home. So I offered Bertie to my friend's son and since he didn't have any stuffed animals, his mother eventually accepted, after much protest. There was a bit of sadness on my part, watching Bertie go, but I knew that the young child would get a lot of enjoyment from playing with Bertie, so I was okay with letting him go.
Two days later, I visited my mailbox at school and there was a huge package in there. I rarely get mail, so I was quite excited and ripped open the envelope. As I unwrapped the gift, I started to laugh. Another friend had been visiting the USA and challenged a friend of hers, who owns a company called Kwirky Creations, to crochet an aardvark! She succeeded! It was in the shape of my own signature too!!
His name is Antonio and he now sits in my office, waiting to be hugged.
God is so amazing! I have incredible friends who know my love for aardvarks and look for ways to bless me through them. And then when I turn and bless others, God surprises me all the more! What a true sign of His delight and love over me. It is just the reminder I needed today!
