So today across Nepal, there were major exams for the high schoolers as school is about to finish for the year and everyone needs to know what they are doing next year. So all morning the students tested... then at 11 AM when the testing was done... a number of groups in the political arena called a ...you guessed it.. a Bandha! To start at 1PM and go until 5. Why? Well the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court was sworn in as the interm Chairman of the Prime Minister's Office. The elections will be held in June.
So, we in the meantime, had parents scrambling to pick up their kids before the roads closed. And now it has gotten quiet at school. I was thinking of going home for a nap!
