City Tour Album

I never get tired of seeing this scene:
 cops directing traffic! It is
poetry in motion.

A mask shop. It also had puppets.

On the City Tour we went
to Kathmandu Durbar.  
This is the historic
part of town.
 Very old, and lots of temples
and palaces.

There must have been 10,000 pigeons
at this temple. And every 15 minutes
one of the the temple workers came out
and threw them more bird seed. It is a mad
scramble.
The most eerie thing was the sound of all of
 them coo-cooing!

what all the excitement is about.

Thamel is a tourist district. You can get
all kinds of Western items there.

The pedestrian and the driver really
had no recourse, but to go around.
