So there was a bandha called today... at first it was for all day... then it was only from 6am to 12:00noon. We had one family get up and drive in at 5:30 to be sure to be here for school on time, but otherwise it was very quiet in the lane on my watch this morning. Then at 10AM the bandha was called off totally because of some great leader who died on this day over 50 years ago. I really do not understand all this stuff. I do know that it changed the lunch menu today and I did not have my morning Nepali class, plus we had about 16 students absent. Friday there is scheduled another strike... nation-wide. Oh the fun....it just keeps on marching on!
