Searching for Sherpas

Today in LOP we went to the ethnic
museum to find out more about
the numerous tribes in Nepal.
Depending on who you ask, there
are anywhere from 57 to 109 different
ethnic groups.  We were given a bunch
of questions to answer about a
specific tribe, whose name we pulled
out of a cup. My team got the Sherpas!

So off we headed to the museum

These Thakila beads are made from
a snake spine.

They are not in there!

The Thura people of the Terai
worship a bunch of different gods.
Not sure what this one is the
god of, but I have some ideas.

Watch out with that knife! It is a
Gurkha Kukri. 

Okay, we are getting closer to the
Sherpa items.
