During my language lessons about shopping, I kept coming across this word, "Buff". My first thought was, 'Ah, this is the "secret" word for beef, but everyone misspells it, so as not to be offensive." Wrong! I found out today that Buff is actually Buffalo... or better yet... Water Buffalo! Seriously, that's no bull! Then I started wondering if I ate enough of it, would I be buff? Hmmm!?But even more of a shocker was what I thought I was buying as mutton, aka sheep...turned out to be...Naaaaaa... goat. No wonder it tasted a bit like a rusty tin can.
Dare I ask what chicken really is? I think it is better not to ask.
