It is a water filtering system for the rain that is collected off the roof. This is not for drinking, so not everyone has one, but it is used to water gardens, flush toilets, and do laundry. The rain water is filtered through a series of the buckets,(I've seen no more than four on a system), each bucket has small holes in the bottom of the bucket, covered with a rag, which allows the water to be "purified."
Any ideas?
